Welcome to Rapid City Therapeutic Massage (rctmassage.com). By using our website and booking our services through the Vagaro platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Professional Scope of Practice


The massage therapy services provided by Rapid City Therapeutic Massage are for the purposes of stress reduction, relief from muscular tension, or general wellness.

  1. Our therapists do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform spinal manipulations.
  2. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examinations. We recommend you see a physician for any physical ailments.


2. Booking and Appointments


All appointments are managed via Vagaro. To secure your session:

  1. You must book via our website (RCTMassage.com), Vagaro (vagaro.com/rapidcitytherapeuticmassage), or by calling (605) 484-0706.
  2. Clients whom have previously cancelled appointments must provide a valid credit card to be held on file.
  3. You agree to provide accurate health information via our digital intake forms prior to your arrival.


3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy


We value your time and our therapists' time. Because we operate by appointment, the following fees apply to missed sessions:

  1. Cancellation Notice: We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
  2. Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price.
  3. No-Show Fee: Failure to show up for an appointment without notice will result in a charge of 100% of the service price.
  4. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure we stay on schedule for following clients. The full service fee will still apply.


4. Zero-Tolerance Policy (Client Conduct)


Rapid City Therapeutic Massage maintains a strictly professional, therapeutic environment.

  1. Any illicit, suggestive, or inappropriate remarks or advances will result in the immediate termination of the session.
  2. The client will be liable for the full payment of the session.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and may report inappropriate behavior to local authorities if necessary.


5. Health Disclosures & Safety


  1. It is the client's responsibility to inform the therapist of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations.
  2. You agree to update the therapist of any changes in your health status at the beginning of every session.
  3. Our therapists reserve the right to refuse a treatment if a condition exists which makes massage therapy unsafe (e.g., contagious skin conditions, acute injury, or intoxication).


6. Payments and Refunds


  1. Payments are processed via Vagaro/Stripe.
  2. Refunds: We do not offer refunds for services already rendered.
  3. Gift Cards: Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value.


7. Limitation of Liability


By booking a session, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with massage therapy. You agree that Rapid City Therapeutic Massage, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any claims or injuries resulting from your use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence.
